Meet some of the team and their qualifications...
Katie Schloman, Director
Katie has over 6 year experience in records, information management and TRIM. She spent 5 years working for Department of Education Training and the Arts Queensland (DETA), where she held roles such as Information Officer Classifier, TRIM Systems Administrator and Project Officer for two successful eDRMS upgrade projects.Most recently she has been a Senior Records Management Consultant, before establishing Miktysh Solutions. She is currently studying her Graduate Diploma of Science (Information Services) focusing on Records and Archiving with Edith Cowan University.
Katie is a qualified Trainer and has developed, customized and conducted training in:
- Introduction to Records Management;
- Understanding a Business Classification;
- TRIM Captura, Context 5, Context 6 and 6R2 User and Administrator;
- How to build a Business Classification Scheme and Thesauri using One to One.
Katie also has extensive experience in the following (but not limited to):
- Business analysis;
- Project management;
- Change management;
- TRIM system testing and evaluation;
- Provided records management and system advice;
- TRIM help desk support including documentation;
- Developing of records management polices & procedures;
- Planning, configuration & implementation of TRIM including documentation;
- Developed and Reviewing Business Classification Schemes (BCS) and Thesauruses;
- Developing training programs & resources including online training, system tips & TRIM Ice tips.
Katie acquired here HP TRIM 6R2 Application Accreditation at the end of 2008 which makes her qualified to implement and maintain the front end of TRIM but her years of experience with this product go beyond this accreditation.
Michael Schloman, Director
Michael has over 12 year experience in Information Technology. He spent 5 years working for his family’s business Astra Panels, where he held roles such as ICT Manager, Project Manager and Sales Consultant.Outside of working for the family business he also ran his own successful ICT consulting company, networking, installing and maintaining telemarketing software XSellerator 5 with High Profile clients such as Interactive Call Centre Solutions and Dick Johnson Racing.
He has worked as an ICT Recruitment Consultant and most recently he has been consulting as an Information Technology Coordinator specialising in HP TRIM.
Over the last year, Michael has recently acquired a:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;
- HP TRIM Context Application Accreditation;
- HP TRIM 6R2 Technical Implementation Accreditation;
- Microsoft Certificate for Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment.
Michael also has extensive experience in the following (but not limited to):

Michael obtained his HP TRIM Context Application Accreditation in April 2008 and the TRIM 6R2 Technical Implementation Accreditation at the end of 2008 which makes him qualified to implement and maintain both the front and back end of TRIM. These accreditations combine with his years of experience in the ICT world makes him a key member of an Information Management Project team as the “Go between person” to ICT Department,
